Evening all, yes I know I have been very quiet for some time.I remember when I was in my Teens I always wanted a dedicated train room. Over the years there have been many false starts but finally I have a dedicated space that is 9 metres by 6 metres. The plan is to finish the room so that when the layout is operational, the room is a place that you feel real comfortable in.
Although we lived in the space while our house was being built I was surprised just how much work was needed to finish it off to just how I wanted it.
In the space there needs to be room for the operational walk around layout, crew lounge (sorry I know it is American) and work/modeling bench.
This is the 9 metre wall as you walk in on the left. This is where the layout will start and continue.The crew lounge is already in place and you can just see the couch in this shot.
Anyway hope this is enough to wet your whistle. The other side of the room needs finishing. Stay tuned.
